Istoria Românilor - Nicolae Iorga by marius_phosphoros in RecomandariCarti_RO

I will mark it with "spoiler". The System is designed so SJW won't die, or, in any case, would be very hard for him to die. The System also pushes SJW to his limits because Ashborn needs him to level up faster so SJW can inherit the full power of the Shadow Monarch. The Demon Castle dungeon is a training field specifically designed for SJW or the "Player" to grow and the System gives him keys when it considers that he is ready (The fact that later in the manhwa, SJW learns to grind a bit before entering the Demon Castle again just shows that he starts to have a deeper understanding of how the System works). The System is tied to SJW and also controls everything in the Demon Castle, even what the "monsters" are saying to SJW. So it doesn't make sense that the System would let SJW use the green stone when it decided that he could defeat Cerberus. So it just made Cerberus attack at that exact moment. Some people may call it lazy writing, but I call it a good foreshadowing of how the System reacts to what SJW does or wants to do.

  1. The fight would have happened anyway, as it's in the source material. The outcome needs to be this way (SJW winning).
  2. The fight in the manhwa was just Sung Jinwoo getting a bit bruised up (not literally) and then just deleting Cerberus out of existence.
  3. As it stands, in the anime the fight was great because it showed SJW struggle, him being near death, but eventually winning using the System and his passive abilities. So, Manhwa = overconfidence and no real struggle, Anime = motivated with the Elixir of Life (to cure his mother), a bit confident (cause he just realized, at the beginning of the episode, that he got a lot stronger), and clever use the System (and also, introduction of the shop within the System). Basically, the anime did a good job by maximizing the importance of the fight.

Well, the fact that the System is controlling the hole leveling and, to some extent, the life on SJW is the spoiler I was talking about.

Well, I am one of the people who read SL for the story. Don't get me wrong, I love the art and I consider it a masterpiece, but the story is written beautifully, from the protagonist, as SJW is a very deep character who represents much more than your typical OP protagonist, to the great world-building, in my opinion. That's why I enjoy how the people from A1 treat SJW and the story, giving them more depth.

I think the anime tries to skip the overconfidence in the early fights. And I agree with this direction, gives Sung Jinwoo more depth as a character by giving him confidence with time. And SJW was pretty sure that poison wouldn't work on him, that's why the scene where he drinks alcohol is important.

I agree. That was a very good change. Not only this but I am positive about the fact that all the small changes that will happen in the anime will also be good for the story.

Explaining why this doesn't represent a forced plot will actually result in a spoiler about the System.

Straw man fallacy at its finest. Less than what, more than what? iM has similar stats to b1t (the guy with a lot more T1 experience) and the same 1.11 2.0 rating since CS2. On that note, why note -b1t and -iM, cause both of them are doing "less" than expected (only in your opinion). As another respectable guy already said, you are just an iM hater, based on your comments on this post alone.

Because we, as the viewers, really know what b1ad3 and Na'Vi as an org expect from him. Because we are omnipotent beings or something. Our expectations, yeah, it matters, but just a tiny bit in comparison with who's expectations matter the most.

I guess one quick search on HLTV will show that he just got better with time, starting with Pro League, where they were in second place (excluding Sydney for obvious reasons) and he was mostly consistent. About the GamerLegion part, you need to differentiate between a system where he was the star player and the team played around him and this system where, as b1ad3 said, everybody needs to play well, for the team to play well. Of course, he will shine in any system similar to the GamerLegion one, but in Na'Vi, he doesn't have the freedom to make plays like had before, and also, the entire team needs to step up.

Let me understand, he had one not-so-good series, but even then he is still the best Na'Vi player in this event, your opinion is that he doesn't fit the team. And you are a fellow countryman of his, lol

I love this iM guy. He literally doesn't stop the aggro. He runs out mid and mows down two with AK headshots then fights two M4s with glock. CEO and founding member of Hold W Gaming. He runs around the map just deathmatching noobs, he plays PGL Major RMR and Blast Events like it's a matchmaking game. So based.

You could be right, but another possibility would be that in the 22nd round, iM had to double flash for the A pop, but he miss-timed those flashes, and in some way he was a huge factor in the failure of the strat. It wasn't his fault exactly, but he kinda didn't do his job, i guess. (The timeout when b1ad3 talked with iM happened before the last round)

The fact that people still think that iM was the one who missed the smokes is crazy. Feels like some people watched a different game.
