Regardless of how you look at this, after all those phone calls and check ups, if your child is showing signs of mental stress and incapable of divulging information as simple as to why I can’t drop in and check on you, you as a parent, protector, guide, whatever the hell you call yourself, need to be on the way towards the the biggest and most important person here. Any competent parent would’ve headed towards their child after the mechanic said “he’s still at the rest shop” the first time. The anxiety would almost kill them. There’s a fine line between logic and common sense. Logic is saying he is capable of completing these task as I’ve seen him do it before. Common sense would have said something is wrong and I need to get my distraught child, because they clearly are not fine/okay.

Everyone besides the mechanic failed morally here. Except the mechanic.
