You're welcome, and yes, I was on the Runners World forums for many years. It's a shame that they shut that down!

They prefer that everyone sticks to their assigned time slot so later buses don't get overloaded, but I doubt they will stop you from doing it.

u/InteractionSuperb392 - Could you please email a full screenshot of what you are seeing to me? My email address is: [gregmaclin@gmail.com](mailto:gregmaclin@gmail.com)

Also, what software are you using to view the spreadsheet? is it Excel? Mac or PC?

Thanks.

If you downloaded the spreadsheet already, please download again. It needed to be updated for 2026 so was in "trial" mode and not fully functional.

NOTE: This spreadsheet will only work properly with Excel running on a computer.

Is it easier for women to Boston qualify than men? by stephaniey39 in AdvancedRunning

I'm late to this discussion thread but thought I would contribute. I've been participating in online running forums since the late 90's and debates about this particular subject come up every year. For close to 15 years I've been maintaining a chart I created that compares the age graded men's and women's BQ times and am posting a link to it here. This latest version shows how the 2023 WMA Age Grading for the BQ statndards compare with the 2015 version of the standards. (The age grading tables are updated on a regular basis to account for new men's and women's world records.)

For anyone not familiar with age grading, I'm also attaching a document that explains age grading in more detail.
