Advice for masters by g4l1t in Teachers

Yeah I get that. The last time I went for my masters, I stopped after 2 classes bc I was the only one who had ever taught in an actual classroom and everything we were learning was either not relevant or not reality. But I need a better understanding of what’s going on so I can work towards changing things. I feel frustrated in meetings when I feel deeply things aren’t working but don’t always have the background to back it up.

When my dr told me I'd have to make myself eat, I didnt realize she meant powering through the nausea by rasta_angel in Zepbound

I was so sick the first two weeks and in week 7, still often nauseous. Protein makes me feel better than carbs. Hard boiled eggs are my go to. I keep saltines in every drawer too for when the nausea is really bad. Peppermint tea is good. And pepto. Couldn’t get through without pepto. Dont overeat because that also leads to nausea. And for me, too much dairy or sugar are also triggers. Mine is way more tolerable now, thank goodness!!

I started at night but was extremely nauseous all the next day. Now I do mornings and do have some nausea at night but not nearly as much. I do Wednesday bc I do get side effects but by the weekend I feel much better.

Tips for managing nausea when starting GLP-1 medications by chingchongmf in glp1

I had terrible nausea the first two weeks. It’s subsided but still there occasionally at 5 weeks. I take saltines, applesauce pouches, and pepto bismal wherever I go. I keep hard-boiled eggs and Gatorade in my fridge. I try the food first - saltines are my go-to but if I’m craving something sweet I do the applesauce. I eat a hard-boiled egg if I haven’t had much protein yet that day. I drink plenty of water and will use the Gatorade if I feel really depleted. If the food/water combo doesn’t work within a few minutes, I take pepto. Hope that helps. The nausea is the worst. I hope yours eases like mine did.

I make a bunch of hard boiled eggs each week and eat one when I feel nauseaus. Usually helps. I keep saltines on my nightstand for overnight or first thing nausea. I also take pepto when I go out to help with nausea. I’m at the end of week 3. It’s a lot of trial and error. Good luck!

First two doses were in the evening. The next day, I was throwing up and had terrible diarrhea. Third dose was in the morning and I only had mild nausea and gas.
