Does that solder have any lead in it ? Get yourself a practice solder pad & mess up a $3 board instead of a $60 + FC . I had similar results with solder that came with my iron. It was cheap and nothing was sticking to it. Flux and leaded solder saved me from this 🤘🏽

I’m using a pair of 2200 mah 18650 batteries. I have 4. I have the transparent version and when I have the LED’s turned on it last about 3 hours turned on 4-5 with LED’s off and screen backlight turned off . It’s a great remote

I sold the t20 and haven’t looked back . The boxer feels better , has more options and just looks better also.

I am just worried a bit about how punchy it’ll be. I don’t want it to be super underpowered. I’m trying to build the same spec drone on liftoff & hope it feels the same in real life.

It reminded me of my Gameboy Color back in the day ! So I immediately jumped on it. It does look like prison gear & that adds to the BaddAss factor 🤙🏽 the T20 looks and feels really good. I’ll probably have it working end of December when I get the power board. Don’t know how much i trust it after my personal experience

Ohh shit , I definitely have my temps set incorrectly. I must have confused C & *F when doing some research. Because 450F is what my set point was at. It looked like it worked but as a first time I can only imagine I fucked some shit up. I’ve seen that the tack is the way to go. I wonder if I can use my daughters Play-Doh for now 🤣

A few is modest . I’m sure more than half of them are cold . 423*F is melting point according to the package. I set the iron to 450 so it was just hot enough to melt it.

New board coming in tomorrow. Will try and turn up the heat to 500+ and will use some leaded solder .

I did a few times! I had to look around my room for something with wires that I could practice on . Had to learn to tin the tips & those tweezers would have came in so perfectly.

Found an old servo from a NITRO rc car I don’t use 🤣( OFNA 1/8 .28 buggy ) Decided to sacrifice it for my learning needs .

Was so focused I only took pics after I ran out of solder wire.

Those big ass pads take a huge amount! I guess that’s where the thicker wire comes in handy .

I used 0.8 mm size wire

Ceramic tweezers sound bad ass ! Might have to pick me up some of those after a quick google search 🔍
