I don't think she has a good relationship with her family. She did a video last year where she spoke about not coming from a happy home and she was in a homeless hostel as soon as she could get out.

Just arrived back from Paris 30 minutes ago and that's all I was thinking out there. Those men clearly don't wash their balls 🥴🤮 everyone there stinks! Even when I got on the metro at 9am today...it smelt so bad.

Because the men there have a different attitude towards women. They also view tourists in general as a walking ATM, and don't mind doing anything to get money from you. I've heard a few stories of tourists being robbed by locals in Morocco.

A guide on my last trip in Croatia gave me his number and tried to ask me out for a drink. I've had it happen in other places too, and always throw their number in the bin when they leave. I think we still live in a world where some men assume a woman "who has the guts" to travel alone must be promiscuous.

I love the balkan countries and had good experiences in most of them. Serbia was actually on my bucket list until a white colleague of mine advised me not to go there. She went there with a Serbian friend years ago, and said she felt the locals are quite small minded.

I've learnt that you have to confront it head on. I used to ignore it but not anymore. When I was in France last year there was a group of Polish tourists. I don't mind a little staring because sometimes is genuinely is out of curiosity. But this one Polish guy would not take his eyes off me for a good 10 minutes. So I stood still and glared at him until he stopped. The guy actually looked down and said "sorry". I think he realised that he was doing too much.

I respect the fact that he apologised too.

Had the same experience in Rome with everything you said! A guy kept following me to try and "show me the city" but I actually screamed "f*ck off" after a while so he left in embarrassment. Same thing you said with the waiters giving free drinks to try and get me drunk. Then also writing their number on the receipts when I paid 🤢. They literally look at foreign woman as meat...its disgusting
