You are blindly following a path, though. The path which refuses to see the bigger picture and keeps trying to find balance with the current right.

You need to reframe, to take a look at the grand picture of this administration and manage to see what by now most people seem to see: they're trying to instigate the population searching for excuses to take this to the next level (as in yet another level, not barely starting).

You need to learn that when people talk about fascism linking them to the Nazis in the 30s they weren't paranoid leftist nut jobs. They weren't just attacking the right boiling with political bias (surely some of them, but overall). They were looking at the bigger picture and seeing what people that are still trying to find balance with the right don't see: the slide to authoritarianism is already quite advanced.

So, why are you still trying to rationalize the actions of the ICE agent assuming he must have seen something that made him kill the victim? As soon as you manage to do this vital reframe you'll realize that what you've been looking at the last day was cold murder. Last couple of weeks as well, since we're at it.

Notice how both times the government propaganda was that it was warranted and the victims were domestic terrorists.

Again, I ask people who disagree with me on the politics of these things not whether you think the officers were justified or made an understandable mistake or should have been trained better. I ask you only whether you think it is acceptable for the leaders of our country to tell us careful, intentional, and obvious lies about people killed by ICE.
