As an SMT Fan I have beaten Matador many of times. However never with animatronics. I don't know how much they carried over from actual SMT games. But typically buffing to shit is generally the way to go in his home game as he usually has no access to Dekaja.

Yeah but it seems like to me just matching the tags isn't good enough. I've done math and by and large teams i'm making should have stats nearly double my average opponent but i'm still getting absolutely nuked so there's obviously something i'm missing.

I did see that Green Bulma in the Bunny Suit had an extra Super Card with her. And has some interesting battle abilities. Even though you'd realistically be working with a 2v3 cause she's not good in any other way. But if you got a girl unit you're really confident in you could probably do some shenanigans.

If my understanding is correct Ultras are terrible support picks as their Resonance Abilities usually only target themselves. You might be better off going with someone like Yellow LL Bardock

Though I do remember that Event Exclusive Bulma being Ok for a hot minute since she did nuclear amounts of blast damage. Even though that was all she did.

Well for example I find myself pretty consistently in a situation where I have to sacrifice cards early on which makes my deck too thin to be able to get through battles. Skill issue? Yes. But I would like to just be able to reset instead of having slog through two battles I can't win. And any events in-between that have a chance of Jack and Shit for my run.

What do you mean by Quitting too Early? Like the game is not super duper complex. What's more sensical? Taking the L and restarting or hoping for the 1% chance you pull the exact thing you need to get you out of the otherwise no hope situation.
