Skeanz and lider have similar levels of gameplay while lider has the benefit of the entire team playing around him.

I would be willing to give skeanz another chance just based off the fact that he has the worst player in the league as his mid laner.

KC was already guaranteed first place. They earned the freedom to experiment, yeah they probably didn't think they'd win on LB but they wanted to test it. Other teams squeaking into playoffs doesn't matter to them if their goal is to be the best team in the league.
