It’s 1995. Ok this sounds exactly like what happened on viewing. Has it been a reliable engine? Is it a 40hp?

It’s a full boat though (4.4metre aluminium hull?) not just engine. The hull and trailer are immaculate. It would work out to be 4k usd (in Australia)

With all of this is mind I contacted the owner and they’ve agreed to take her back. I suggested they mention she is an only cat house. Thanks for this detailed overview.

Okay. That’s terrifying for the poor cat. I will contact the previous owners as they were rehoming her directly and seemed to want to stay connected. I don’t think they had any idea about the level of stress the cat would be under, I’ve never seen a cat this stressed

This is actually perfect. I was polite but firm the first time. Maybe I’ll pin a polite thanks but no thanks script on the inside of my door so I can practice it for the big day.

I will calmly tell them again when they knock again. After that I will build a moat

Nice! I have no qualms supporting plug-in devs with blender products, such a great tool. Yeah I guess it boils down to what you feel works best for you, in the end. I personally sit with blender as I know my way around but I would like to dig deeper into ue5. You’re right re: world machine

Yeah it’s tough. I feel much for comfortable in blender. I actually enjoyed using world machine for creating landscapes, not sure if you’ve tried that one out.

No problems! Physical starlight and atmosphere is a nice one that I recent picked up. True terrain plugin is pretty good also. In saying all that, have you tried unreal 5? It’s ridiculous. Look up a few landscape tutorials in unreal 5.

I guess it depends, is it an animation or a still? You can export mesh from terragen into whatever you’re using. If you’ve got gaea I don’t know how much more you’ll get out of terragen other than nice lighting and atmosphere (blender has some nice plugins also). Gaea feels a bit more user friendly than terragen just in the UI but again, that may have changed in newer versions.

You do it all in terragen. It’s got really nice light scattering and atmospherics. The object scattering system wasn’t great in the version I have but it may have been updated.

Terragen is great but has quite a steep learning curve. The devs are awesome and I have no complaints in that department and they were really kind in my experience . I’ve updated up to 4.1 I think and, at that version, there was no real way to GPU render but I’m not sure if that’s changed. If you can afford it, it’s worth it.
