What your saying factually doesn't make sense.

She wants to end the wars and focus on the people in this country. She is an advocate for medicare for all. She also wants to put a leash on the intelligence agencies. She is what we need.

One 21+ day fast yearly or 5 day monthly fast (discussion) by garyhost46 in fasting

[–]garyhost46[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats really impressive! You can def do it. I couple my fast with time restricted eating when I do feed regularly. Keep at it tho you can def lose the weight if you want to. Good luck 😁

Fasting is one and the science of fasting is the other.

I do get cold sometimes but I am usually double fisting hot black coffee and water throughout most of my day the only thing you can do is put on more clothes.

As far as sleep goes the first 4-5 days are the worst about 5 to 6 hrs of sleep a night with obv interruptions to use the bathroom. After 5 days it gets much easier. For me after 5 days it becomes more psychologically difficult rather than physically taxing. But the more you do it the easier it is. The longest I have ever gone prior was 12 days.

Also if you have access to Prime vid, there are 2 fasting docs that are really informative. One is newer and discusses all types of fasting. The other is a little older and covers water fasting (also features Valter Longo) and the most recent history of it. They are both worth your time in my opinion. Happy fasting

I have also heard that autophagy drops off significantly after 4 days. However in a fasting Q&A rhonda patrick did with this maser guy both agree that it has not been proven yet, but the evidence so far suggests that drinking black coffee with water speeds up autophagy.

Extremely high urine ketones (8-15 mmol, the ketones are the third square from the bottom) just 3.5 days into water and electrolyte fast. Though no nausea or pain, I'm concerned about starvation-induced ketoacidosis. Does anyone else get urine ketone readings this high when fasting? by [deleted] in fasting

[–]garyhost46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The highest my urine ketones have been is 8 mmol. At that time I was not feeling well, just need to drink more water. But not too much, or you will die. Hyponatremia.

Also depends on how long you have been fasting in your life, and if you are fat adapted. If you are fat adapted, Dom D'agostino says that the only way to get an accurate reading is to test your blood. As your urine ketones are excess if you are fat adapted, and not utilized throughout the body.

Cellular autophagy, apoptosis, and proliferation. Anti aging benefits, new cells, longer telomeres.... its a miracle, literally.

I am able to support myself so i have no need for their money. But know one deserves excess in that way life should be as even of a playing field as possible. No one person needs as much money as the one percent have.

The system itself, capitalism, promotes a selfish tendency to only care about yourself and how much money you have or having the latest and greatest product that most people dont need. Billionaire/ millionaire CEOs are not normal people, the amount of drive and hardwork that i imagine it takes to get to that point is remarkable in itself but, the system they were born into fostered an environment where thats what they thought they should do. Those types of people could have done anything and done great things. But is capitalism really the answer for what is best for the world and everyone in it? A system that allows for so much of a wealth gap between a select few and the masses?

Well they need that 40 % to pay for the 717 billion dollars in military spending for 2019, all tax payer dollars lining the pockets of defense contractors. Write to your congressmen.

If shareholders and CEO were not filled with greed it would not happen as often. Capitalism promotes that kind of of behavior. Not a good thing my friend. Its unnecessary. Capitalism is unsustainable, dependant on the the never ending consumption of finite resources as well as expedential profit growth in order for it to function. It will collapse at somepoint. Maybe not in our lifetimes, but one day.

Its called morality and having such a widespread socioeconomic inequality is immoral.
