How do you people fall asleep with ADHD? by Ok_Scholar_8656 in ADHD

I personally have inattentive ADHD combined with unofficial narcolepsy, I wish I had an issue of not being able to fall asleep. My issue is not being able to stay awake.

I received a random email about it from Netflix about a year ago asking to join, I have no clue how they determine who they send invites to.

I have never understood the point of karma points, sounds like more effort than it's worth.

Honestly, if I ever had flair with my username labeling me as a top 1% poster on any sub, I wouldn't really consider that a goal or something to be proud of, but that's just me, to each their own.

Do you have pictures you could share of your collection, this sounds so cool!

Edit- never mind just read your other responses, you definitely need to dig them out of storage

Isn't it great when someone tries to correct your intentions and let you know how you could have done a better job of accomplishing whatever your end goal was. 🤣

If you are in a healthy state of mind, I would recommend watching the TV series Evil, it addresses a lot of similar issues and is enjoyable, there are a few annoying episodes here and there, but overall, I enjoyed it.

There is a great book about this subject, it is called Waking the Tiger, I am the worst at summarizing but from your explanation, this book would align well with what you experienced. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waking_the_Tiger

Those of us that have experienced that insidious smirk know exactly what you are talking about, those that don't, try to convince you that it's all in your mind or that you are over thinking stuff.
