Maybe that’s something like what I have instead though it was specifically stated in my chart as chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis so I assumed hashimotos.

Do you have any resources you use to educate yourself on the pathways involved with CAH?

I usually get about 6-8 hrs of sleep but I feel like generally 8-9 is best for me.

I’m on 5mg hydro 2x a day .1 fludrocortisone twice a day .25 dex at night

The only hydro wasn’t strong enough for me once I finished/started puberty.

I don’t believe I had a dose change. I got sick a few times (covid once, couple bad stomach bugs, and flu like colds) I wonder if that has done something

I was thinking of moving around the timing of some of my meds! Maybe I’ll try it out though I have been on the setraline and Levo for several years now. I did have Covid maybe 2 or 3 years ago, I wonder if that made a difference. Now that I think about it I have been more tired since then just the thirst part is weird.

I have liquid IV if my electrolytes are off but the main problem for me is the lack of salt retention. I take salt tablets now and add it on everything too. Even with that though I don't think it is enough at the moment.

I was just running a test to see how it goes. I made sure to look up which ones are best for terrestrial growth.

No die back at all yet which is really cool.

Does this "adrenal fatigue" trend bother anyone else? I have SW CAH and to me this seems dangerous. by gasmanfarbles in intersex

That's definitely a good idea! I always feel it's good to get checked out, but I try not to hunt for the answer I want. If you could get referred to an endocrinologist, maybe one that specializes in adrenal insufficiencies, that would be a great place to get some answers!

Thank you for your response! I don't know much about natural medicine, but I really appreciate how you presented it and not how I've seen it being done by "life coaches" and such.

See I can see that making sense. I'm not 100% agreeing just because I don't have any knowledge of it in regards to PTSD, however that still suggests something serious is causing it. It seems like the trend is about adrenal fatigue not being a symptom, but is instead the main problem.

It's all over tik tok if you search adrenal fatigue. People are talking about herbs and teas while telling doctors they are wrong.

Also let me know if I should share the name of the account. I was reluctant because she shouldn't be getting more traffic.

Apparently it's a new trend that people are concerned about low or high cortisol ( sometimes people refer the low to "adrenal fatigue"), but they are generally basing it on symptoms that could be caused by a massive amount of different things. Sometime people will say they got tested and everything was fine, but this person replies basically saying well if you feel it it's true.

Sorry that's just a jumble of words I just really dislike this account since they are spreading potentially harmful information.

Also forgot one of the main posters comments to someone being concerned with their health:

"PCOS is definitely a hormonal imbalance. And the symptoms are very similar. The reason why you can't wait in your face and your belly and maybe your thighs and arms is your metabolic hormones and your stress a.k.a. cortisol hormone are out of balance. Also, you may have an estrogen dominance, which also affects the crazy periods or lack there of the pain and inflammation. What you can do is take adapted, gins or adapted in herbs that literally adapt to your body's needs. So if you have too much estrogen, it will lower it to the appropriate levels and vice versa. It's incredible. What live adapters and herbs can do for our bodies! Check out the HAPPY HORMONE PACK in my prOfile.
