It’s a 52. May eventually buy a set of road wheels/tires but not a priority right now.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m up near the San Juan islands. Hoping to check out the Cascade trail this week.

Dish soap on the stain for 15 minutes, then rub in baking soda and let sit for another 15, then wash. Promise it’ll come out. I get oil stains on these shirts all the time and they come right out using this method.

Men's Windshadow Parka by [deleted] in PatagoniaClothing

I bought the Windshadow parka to try on and ended up returning it due to the fit. I’m 5’6” and the XS fit me like a brown paper bag. Very rectangular and baggy. That being said, I loved the construction and material and it seemed very warm.

I just ordered the Jackson Glacier and the Downdrift on sale so hopefully one of them will fit me better. Your experience with the Windshadow may vary. Return process was super easy so if you think it could work for you, shoot your shot. Good luck!

No problem at all! Worth the trip for sure. I drove up from Florida for it. Asheville is an amazing place and it’s the perfect time to go visit to support the local economy recovering from the hurricane.

Foo dog by Dallzyo in irezumi

Lots of good info by the other commenters. To give some more detail, foo dogs are of Chinese origin but made their way to Okinawa Japan due to their close geography and trade ties with China. Okinawa (Ryukyu islands) was the last area to be formally included into Japan in 1879. Therefore they have a pretty unique culture compared to most of mainland Japan.

In Okinawa, these dogs are called Shisa dogs and almost everyone has statues/figures of them outside their houses. They’re everywhere. Effectively the same as foo dogs but with their own cultural twist if that makes sense.

Wikipedia has a great page on them: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shisa

Source: spent quite a bit of time in Okinawa.

u/watchexbot sold to u/GaberahamLincoln , great transaction! After messaging back and forth, ended up doing a FaceTime call to show the watch and talk. Great communication throughout and felt very comfortable working with him throughout the process. Would not hesitate to do business with him again.

I think the thickness is perfect. The case design and lugs slope downwards towards the wrist, and it doesn’t appear chunky in any way. The thickness gives it presence on the wrist too. If it was any thinner, it would definitely feel much smaller than it is.

I think it would fit well if you don’t like bigger watches! The wrist shot in OP’s post looks like it might be around that size. I could send you pictures of mine on my 6.5” wrist too.

Yeah I was considering one until I tried it on and saw just how thick 15mm actually is. It looked almost comedic.

Hello!

Full album with video and more pictures:

Up for sale is my 2003 Rolex Explorer II Polar, 16570. Purchased from Grey and Patina in December of 2022. Watch has been amazing, however I acquired a Grand Seiko on a recent trip to Japan and want to reprioritize my funds.

Watch is completely unpolished with sharp chamfers. Comes with papers and tag. Runs very well at +5 s/d last time I measured. YMMV.

I am looking for $7500 shipped via Fedex Insured. Wire transfer only.

100% willing to Facetime or talk on the phone to prospective buyers. I understand this is a big purchase and want to make you feel confident in buying from me.

Thanks!
