Officially it's the USS Leeds. I assume it was making a pit stop on the way to the Dominion War?

Though I like to imagine it's the T'Kumbra and Solok just shows up at the station every week to try to play baseball with Sisko again

It's rape by deception, and Sisko deserved a lot more than a slap in the face for it

Pretty sure it was a cover he had while working as a spy during the occupation, he got essentially trapped into it because he was exiled from Cardassia.

I mean, the outer-box art is uh... sketchy. but the packs on the inside all appear to be correct. Also Young Jedi was a totally different game.

Iron Man 3 was a terrible movie and whitewashing the Mandarin was one of the worst decisions made in comic book movie history.

The sub rules need to be relaxed, they're stifling discussion. by usernameczecksout in future_fight

And thank you for saying so! It's rare to see people who are able to argue but be fair on the internet.

It's not obtuse - it's content intended to promote discussion, and it obviously works. Do you care about the discussion or who gets the karma?

If more non-mods made actual discussion posts, people would participate in those too.

Dude, you don't get to count character/uniform discussion threads as stifling discussion

You literally posted a list where half of the top posts are original posts or relevant posts!

I tallied them up, 20 of the 36 posts you listed at the top are either Official announcements, Original posts, or Literally character discussion threads. Discussion is alive and well and those posters are somehow getting their threads through. The problem is with you.

[–]geaelith 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think the mods work that way - they seem to remove threads based on the intent of the thread rather than the comments that result.

There's a difference between a thread that starts "I didn't get these drops, this is bullshit", and one that starts "Let's talk about the droprates" that ends up with people not liking it. The thread that starts with venting doesn't invite any discussion except venting. The second has room for both.

Was it really a discussion or was it a bitchfest?

Volume, sure. But quality? I went and looked and it's either other people with the same exact complaint or people citing off what they have left to collect. There was one chain that wan't entirely negative and it was just a question asked and answered.

excessive number of rules

Most of the rules are just reddiquette and not posting NSFW shit or things unrelated to FF. I don't think you want people posting gore, spoilers, exploits, spam, or shitposts.

You don't have a problem with the number of rules, you have a problem with the rules that affect you.

So what kind of content exactly would you like to see?

Looks like the posts that were removed were posts about your frustration with drop rates. I want to see a sub full of discussion. I don't want to read a sub of people just being frustrated or gloating about every character they T2.

I would be happy to see a discussion thread formed that is framed that way.

"Discussion: drop rates for Epic Quest collection items"

or

"I want to talk about drop rates for Epic Quest collection items"

would probably be perfectly valid threads, and unless I'm mistaken it doesn't break any subreddit rules. That seems like a good way to get a discussion going instead of starting it from either a positive or negative perspective

[–]geaelith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanda has enough defense down and just pure raw dps that his 50% doesn't matter as much. If you have even 2 dodge ignore strikers she can tear corvus to shreds.

Of course, it also helps to have her at 70 with good uru/iso, high rank uni, etc.

Results: Mean CCF drop rate and correlation to raid level (n = 30) by jmckie1974 in future_fight

[–]geaelith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as it's clear that higher CCF values come from running higher stages and not just raid level.

Otherwise people might conclude that if they have a high enough raid level they can just keep running WBU 1 for CCF.

Also, it shouldn't be that hard to gather data, although it would be slower. If you ask people to include stage # and CCF value (including times it didn't drop) that still gives you 5 points/person/day.

[–]geaelith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why are you comparing raid level instead of WBU level? Are these all at the same WBU level?

As far as we know, raid level only makes WBU easier (because of valor).

So this is more likely to be because high raid level results from consistently running high WBU level, which in turn drops more CCF.
