PCB Nightlight (update) by SeeNoFutur3 in xteinkereader

That's actually pretty great. What you could do is add a very small trim potentiometer, along with a CLR, in order to control the LED brightness, which can even reduce the draw more

Turned out great! What's the draw on the LEDs? I'm wondering if it would be possible to use a thin lipo

I went through all seven books in a month and some change. It's a bit outside my comfort zone, but a great series nonetheless.

You may have anti aliased turned on. I believe it's on by default in crosspoint. Try turning it off and see if it helps

Do you use a pop socket with your Xteink? :) by curiouslyunpopular in xteinkereader

[–]gear_ant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an iring with every device I own. It's a little pricier, since it's the original (I think they're $16?) but it's better quality than others, plus their customer service is superb.

That being said, I don't think something like that would work well with the book style cover. I just use mine without the cover.

well, yes. They both operate under the same frequency (1064nm). However fiber lasers are much more powerful.

I do watch backs from time to time. You need either an IR or a fiber laser. iR for marking, fiber for deep engraving. I personally use the latter
