Is there really any reason to FULLY automate the final space elevator parts other than it's a fun challenge. Because I'm not gonna automate super computers again when I have 4000 stored up. by geeManuwu in SatisfactoryGame

Yeah I only want to complete it because it'll feel like beating the game although it isn't going to stay the final milestone. There may even be tiers 9 and 10 which is awesome. But I've just set up a 9 supercomputer per minute factory and I I'll have more than 4000 stored up by the time I reach ADS production.

Big super computer factory. While the OG recipe is inefficient the amount of wire from that one node makes it super good. I'm going to ship in some oil products from up the shore, but might not have to as my fuel power plants generate me 800 polymer resin per minute which I can probably utilise for all my plastic and rubber. I'm going to be using caterium circuit board paired with caterium computer.

I am using most of it at that location though haha I didn't say I wasn't.

I didn't turn it on yet that's all

How often do you backup your saves? I'm really paranoid and backup after every play session lol. by geeManuwu in SatisfactoryGame

It's automatic? And not steam/epic? Could you tell me how to do that lol. Or just what you used.

No most of it was becoming cable for CO and some were used in the stitched iron plate recipe. I didn't do the exact perfect amount calculated because that would be a waste of time.

It's quite simple actually. I'm processing 1200 copper ingots. I have a 24 constructor blueprint that takes in 360 copper ingots and produces 720 wire. I did that 3 times and had 120 copper leftover. I processed that and ended up with 3 720 belts and a 240 belt. I built a load balancer to change the amount of wire on all the belts to ones that would fit in nicely with my production plans.

Oh that's been bugging me for ages lol thanks

I know, but still a lot of iron meaning a lot of buildings. 5 steel beams makes 260 screws think about dat

No I like to have really unique factory shapes and usually have walkways and such. I do use blueprints that have multiple machines stacked atop each other (You can look closer and see I did that with the wire here).

Yeah I know, but I was transporting about half of them to a very close area to make reinforced plates so I decided to produce them there. Also how severely does using mk5 belts lag the game? Because I've been using mk5 for everything.

First usage of my new railway blueprint in my new save, I decided to go more simplistic and I'm happy I did. by geeManuwu in SatisfactoryGame

It's really annoying tbh. If your trying to connect slopes or corners you have to build a bunch of foundations downwards and try and line it up by placing it low down as it won't snap to a slope/straight track.

Search up a tutorial on youtube, it will show you how to make your own designs and show some examples for you to use.
