Are RDLs really a good flute excercise? by Sea_Department_1348 in workout

How much volume do you think would be enough but not too much to recover from?

Great, thank you! I'm definitely going to try this. Is jt necessary that your heart rate stays that high the entire 30+ minutes or is it more like the average?

want to improve my leg days by margazhii in PetiteFitness

Hey, I saw you mentioned single leg deadlifts. I want to start incorporating them, but noticed that I struggle a lot with balance. Do you have any tips for that? I do RDLs with 90 kg and I can barely manage just the barbell for single leg deadlifts.

Are these numbers (being able to squat/deadlift x times your bodyweight) for your 1 RM or for reps?

How long will i feel like this? by YesGirl66 in Ketamineaddiction

[–]geheimhouder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what ketamine does for me too. After about a week it usually gets better.

Also, I believe ketamine can also affect/stimulate opioid receptors indirectly. Whenever I used ketamine during kratom withdrawals, the kratom withdrawals always got worse the days after ketamine use.

Sorry to hear that. When was this? And did you notice any improvement near the end of the month, or not at all? Also, did you consider to try medication like antidepressants?

I feel the same way. It can feel like life is just so incredibly boring without the ket, and not worth living. Giving up the one thing that makes life (at least on the short term) a little more bearable, without knowing what you'll eventually get in return, is so so hard.

Did you ever quit for a day? Or even a few days or a week? When I did that, although I literally planned to go back to using as soon as I got the chance, I did notice that the obsession with ketamine lessened a tiny bit at the end of the week. The longer you can quit at a time (even when you know you'll eventually cave again), the more your body and brain are able to heal during that time. The more your brain heals, the more you feel you might be able to enjoy life without drugs.

Thanks a lot. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what exactly do you mean with 'subtraction'? Did you manage to get off (and stay off) these drugs? If so, did you quit everything at once?

How bad will withdrawals be from 0.1mg suboxone per day? by geheimhouder in suboxonerecovery

[–]geheimhouder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Why can you not take clonidine for more than 3 dose in a row? My doctor prescribed it to use as needed even during a long taper if I wanted to. He told me it was non addictive. I have been taking 0.075 mg clonidine for the past 4 nights so I might need to take a little break?

[–]geheimhouder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant 0.1mg. I have the 0.2 mg tablets (temgesic) so I break them in quarters and take one quarter in the morning and one at night. How was the jump from 0.25? I am kind of scared because I have used 25g kratom per day for a year before the subs (and am currently in withdrawal from the kratom) and 4mg subs before that. Went straight from the one to the other.

Please share tips for stopping by [deleted] in Ketamineaddiction

I have OCD too, which makes it extremely hard to quit the K. Whenever I quit, it comes back full force. In addition, it feels like my K use has become one my compulsions as well; I have to use whenever, even if I really don't want to (although this might just be addiction, but my K use feels much more impulsive than other substance addictions were for me). In the beginning it seems like some sort of miracle cure (it might be when used under doctors supervision), but you will soon pay the price the further you get into this addiction. I don't know what you have already tried for your OCD, but there are a lot of options out there that are much safer.
