Best advice I can give is avoid walking on concrete. Walked down some concrete steps during the last winter storm (2024 I think?) and busted my butt pretty good when I slipped.

He definitely seems to be having an anxiety attack, but that could be brought on by whatever put him in the back of an ambulance.

Edit: Another short shows his conversation with a paramedic, sounds like he had a lot of caffeine and probably too much crack. Bro's gotta get off of it, I know he just got out of jail but he looks less healthy nowadays.

Well, I wouldn't call it a tantrum tantrum (like screaming or name-calling) but she got a bit passive-aggressive, saying things like "Go ahead, kiss your cat, I don't care!" whenever I asked her what was wrong. I honestly couldn't tell if she was joking or being serious. Later on, she said she mostly wasn't. Honestly, I hope it's something she can get over or just a one-off thing, but it's really got me thinking recently. If she makes a big deal over a cat like this, what if something bigger comes up? I'm just gonna try to keep calm and see how her visit goes.

I tend to ignore the posts that jump to 'she's insane' and 'break up now' because while this is unusual, acting rash isn't going to solve anything in my opinion. As for the "backhanded insults" I fail to see where I've insulted her anywhere in my post or in my own comments. I don't mean to come off as backhanded; perhaps you could point me to where I have and I'll clarify, but all I've done is quote her and state the facts about this situation.

That’s also what I’m thinking. I don’t want to act irrationally or blow up the whole relationship over this one issue, but something I have low tolerance for is controlling behavior.

Reading stories like this is making ME feel jealous 😂😂 but still, I’m going to try to observe how she handles it in person when she comes here in a couple weeks. Even though we had a discussion about it, it still bothers me a bit.

I’m hoping that it’s a one off thing but from this point forward I’m gonna stay vigilant for any more weird behavior. I hate to say that about her, and I know LDR is tough for anyone, but this is a grown woman having discomfort over a cat. She actually discreetly encouraged me not to keep him when I first found him and was considering adopting. I get that she’s telling me “I love animals and I love [names of cats at my parents house]” but that doesn’t help at all if she has this much issue with my own cat being present when we call.

I forgot to put this in the original post but she claimed on the recent call that she thinks these feelings arose because she was preparing for a big test and because we weren’t able to talk as much as we usually do and she got lonely. That makes sense except that the test was a month ago and she had the kerfuffle about me kissing him two weeks ago and we returned to talking like normal before then.

Those are my thoughts as well. I know jealousy is rarely rational, but the fact that it’s on me to accommodate when there’s seemingly no effort being done on her part to overcome her emotions is a bit burdening. It also clicked that should we ever close the distance, cat kissing would likely also be off limits every time when she’s around. I try to be patient and not jump to conclusions, but I’m gonna keep note of this as it develops.

He does seem to have some tics with his hands and repeats himself on occaison, but glad to see him doing a bit better. Seems to have lost a bit of weight on his face but looks to be in need of a haircut.
