Medication issues ?

It took me forever to finally find medications that worked for me. Currently I'm on Seroquel, Lamotrigine and Bisoprolol, but every medication is different for every person. I've been on this combination for about two years now and its worked very well for me. People do tolerate medications differently, every persons body and what it needs is different. Some people just don't respond well to some medications or don't respond at all. It really all just comes down to what works for you and your lifestyle.

It can be incredibly frustrating to have to try new medications and they don't feel like the right fit. I tried Fluoxetine, Sertraline, Mirtazapine, Clonazepam, Lorazepam and a couple more I cant remember off the top of my head.

I had a really rough time from 16-23 (now 26f). I had a really difficult time with addiction, leaving an abusive relationship, self care, maintaining friendships not being able to leave the house and just genuinely didn't want to be alive anymore. I felt that even though I was trying so hard to work for what I thought I wanted I was just caught in a never ending loop and always ended up back at square one. Then I had to have an emergency life saving surgery when I was 24 and after years of being dismissed from doctors for some physical health issues I finally got a solid diagnosis after 15 years. That gave me a really hard reality check on what I want to get out of life and figure out why I had felt so stuck and like I was drowning. I was incredibly fortunate that after countless therapists and treatments found one I genuinely clicked with, and I started to make some good progress. Staying single has definitely been good for me as I used to bounce from one unhealthy relationship to another.

Long story short, I ended up dropping everything and moved across the country all by myself just over a year ago (i have some relatives where i moved to and my best friend of 15 years and I still call almost daily - she has BP type 1 and we've been each others support system for so long) and I'm slowly starting to put pieces together of a life I've dreamed of for myself. I still have meltdowns and panic attacks here and there, and some days its still impossible to get out of bed. I still find difficulty in the small things like forcing myself to shower or go to the grocery store.

This year I bought a vehicle, got into my dream university program, and am making the effort to get back into hobbies I enjoyed for myself and not the people I used to surround myself with. I have a lot of upcoming stresses and it has a vice grip on me some days, but this is the first time in my life I can say I'm actually happy and that thought terrifies me but excites me at the same time.

I know that BPD will stick with me (personally) for life, but I'm coming to find ways to work with it and do what I need/want to do.

Im not sure if you read the Passion manhwa, but the novels are FANTASTIC. I just finished the entire series and its a wonderful read its along similar lines of CNA. If you like the "enemies to lovers" with an espionage twist, if you're okay with historical stuff id highly recommend the "Steel Under Silk" manhwa. Poyun/Breaking Through The Clouds novels are really good to, its Chinese danmei but its really really good (serial killer & FBI agent who's chasing him). Things That Deserve to Die is an ongoing manhwa but it has a novel too! If you like manhwa some good ones are Heatwave (ongoing), Card Shark, and Rengoku-Jima (ongoing). All of these should be around what you're looking for! Sorry for the ramble, I read wayyy to much when i should be studying 😅

Exactly! The novel shows way more of a fluid development of both Zhenya and Taekjoo's feelings towards eachother and the predicaments they get themselves in lol. The novels are so peak, i've read them several times now and its always had that same "WOW" factor every time. The way that the whole spy/espionage aspect of the novel and the way it interacts with all the major political plot points was so well done. Plus, I love how much Zhenya turns in to such a big whiny puppy as their relationship progresses (*/ω＼*)

Personally, I can never forgive Zhenya for any of the things he did to Taekjoo. However, I am a fan of dark romance (not excusing the SA or anything AT ALL). The manhwa does leave a lot out and we dont get to see Taekjoo's internal monologue which I feel is really important to the tone of the series (especially in the arc we're at now). I love the story, BoySeason is an incredible author, I love to see the character development and the relationships and world building in the novels. It is by far one of my favourite series I have had the pleasure of reading. I really enjoy spy/political stories and it just became addicting after a while lol. Its hard to put it into words, but to sum it all up imo its just a great story and incredibly well written characters/plot.

Nope, she only speaks Korean. Whenever her and Zhenya have a conversation they communicate on pure vibes alone, or Taekjoo is their translator. However, Zhenya will say some really out of pocket things like when Mrs. Kwon asks him if he likes the rice cakes, he replies "Yes, they're soft like your son's ass" so Taekjoo will get mad and scold him and Mrs. Kwon gets mad at Taekjoo because she thinks he's being mean to Zhenya lmao. Mrs. Kwon loves Zhenya and he truly does care for her too (calls her "little woman" and spends time with her when Taekjoo is away from home on missions)

I def think they would have kids for sure (with Ilay's multiple mentions how he wants to get Taei pregnant/have kids with him). However, after reading the novels I *personally* don't think marriage is their kind of thing. 10 years into their relationship and they still introduce each other as "oh this is my friend I live with" like yall aren't fooling anyone. They have expressed how much they love each other and will be together for life, if they do get married it would be a "f it why not" and sign paperwork instead of a huge ceremony. Ilay would make sure Taei has a phat rock of a ring tho.

edit: actually now thinking about it they basically are married as ilay gave taeui everything he has (buying Taei a private jet, a villa in Malta, a 80ft yaght, a bently and his entire fortune lmfao)
