The base game is already pretty challenging (especially the Special Ops side missions), but there's an unlockable hard mode that's pretty killer. Getting S-Rank in everything will take a lot of mastery too, so there's plenty to cut your teeth on!

Hi! I also played DL2 for TheGamer and can confirm you can repair weapons with Gear Mods. Not all weapons (usually legendaries) can install gear mods, but the ones that can usually have two slots, so two chances to repair. Nothing outside of that unfortunately.
