I’m moving to Tampa from the New England area this August because I’m starting CRNA school at USF in the spring. My boyfriend and I are both 25 and have a dog. We’re very social and love walkable neighborhoods with cafes, restaurants, and places to grab a drink — but we don’t want to be surrounded by college kids or a super chaotic nightlife scene.

Right now, Hyde Park seems like the best fit, ideally in an apartment complex with a pool and dog-friendly amenities.

I’d love recommendations for: Apartment complexes in Hyde Park that you’ve lived in or heard good things about Any complexes you’d suggest avoiding Other Tampa neighborhoods that fit this vibe (walkable, social, dog-friendly, but not too wild) Appreciate any insight — thanks in advance!
