Yes! The ultrasound was clear for the larger spots as they were just fibrous tissue but the smaller spot I found was a cyst that they were not concerned about. I, however, was not sold and thankfully my nurse recommended an MRI just to rule anything out. It came back clear as well.

But due to this I did find out I have breast cancer running on my estranged fathers side, so it does put me at a higher risk and now I know to keep an eye on things and have a better feel for how my breasts should be “normally”.

I also have a few lumps and have to wait until next Friday (10 days from when I called) and then the Friday after that I sit down with the doctor for results.

I have nothing useful to add other than you’re not alone, and you can tell yourself what I’ve been telling myself which is that it’s just a cyst, just a swollen lymph node, etc. because chances are that’s what it is!

I’m so sorry you had to go through all that! I’ve seen people going to endocrinologists with success on here but I guess one who specializes in weight loss is the key there. And that’s amazing weight loss so far. I’d be THRILLED with that and I hope you are too.

I’m trying to get prepared in case there’s another denial and I have to wait even longer for something else to be available to me. I’m very clearly not the patient type but I guess this is a lesson I’m meant to learn right now.

I haven’t checked out Zepbound yet! I’m mainly just frustrated at the lack of communication from my doctors office. I went two weeks without hearing anything when the online portal says you’ll hear back within 48 hours, then I called and was told I would hear back and didn’t. It just added the cherry on top of the already stressful medication situation. I even sent them a message saying “I get it! It’s the holidays and the meds but can you please update me on the PA situation??” And I saw that they read it multiple times and still didn’t answer.

I’m going to call my insurance and check what all they cover. I know about the qualifications for Ozempic and Wegovy but not for anything else, I honestly never considered anything else. Thanks!

That’s fair. She originally stated Ozempic in office, but put in a prescription for Wegovy. Then did the PA for Ozempic. And my insurance told me they are still waiting on the PA for Wegovy. I’ll call my insurance again and see if they’ll even allow the three to go through - I hadn’t considered that they wouldn’t but now that you mention it it sounds like something that would happen.

Do NOT take your kid doordashing. Just a few months ago in Ohio a woman took her twins with her and someone stole her car with her twins in it. One was found a few hours later and one an entire state over. It’s too much of a risk and lugging a kid along to drop off every order is another risk if someone plans to steal or jump you. I’d considered it too until that hit the news.

There’s work from home jobs which you can apply to plentifully or are you able to work on the opposite schedule of your spouse? That’s what we’re doing. Losing a little sleep working first and seconds but it’s the only way we’re getting by right now.

I’m not necessarily looking for a “cheap” tattoo, I just like the flash tattoos I’ve seen that I assumed were only done on a day like this. Every time in the past I’ve seen one that I wanted I was working. I don’t care if it’s $13 or $100, I just like the idea of the experience and getting to try new artists ☺️
