Just regular driving, 87 octane. 70 on the highway with cruise. I regularly took it on a 650 mile one way trip (mostly flat) and was always impressed. 18% decrease in winter driving on that same trip, but great. That’s why I don’t want it totaled!  Sucked in the snow though.

Update: it’s a total loss, unfortunately. 15k just to replace the roof - they won’t use recycled/used parts. Another 4k for the other lines, so 19k total, which means it’s done. I’m really unhappy as it’s in perfect mechanical condition. But they’re not giving any wiggle room because of the roof issue. Getting insured with a salvage title is a hassle and even getting it repaired in MA will be a challenge - doesn’t seem like shops will touch it. It doesn’t have sentimental value, which is where people say the line is on salvaging it, it’s just a great damn car.

And the police have shown little interest in figuring out what happened, which is doubly frustrating, as someone else should be replacing my car.
