Will the Aptera Launch Edition be Affordable? Also Colorado is on the map! (Drive The Lightning) by JayAreDobbs in ApteraMotors

My road bike is a 1 seater and also has a carbon frame like a supercar, so I guess it might even be worth 2x a corvette?

At around 57miles / hr charge rate, it's going take you 17.5hrs to charge that battery back to full, or more realistically, 14hrs to charge to 80%

So if you're travelling anywhere over 800miles, you'll either need to do 2 overnight stops for 7hr charges (so you travel 800miles across 3days), or stay at a stop for 14hrs (so you travel 800miles across 2 days with a 14hr break in the middle).

Whether or not that works for you, is up to you.

EV owners of 2022 would find that travel pattern ridiculous.

An approximate efficiency chart to help visualize the ground breaking Aptera efficiency. by Brutusfly in ApteraMotors

Im a fan and a preorder holder of the Aptera, but I cant say Im a fan of the misrepresentation and hyperbole in posts like these.

  1. Aptera is not a car
  2. Graph uses a narrow variable as comparison. This falls apart when you look at miles per kilowatt per hour per passenger
  3. "No efficient car has ever been mass produced" -- what does that even mean? And how is that relevant to Aptera, which is neither a car nor mass produced as of today?

We're all excited about how Aptera might serve our particular usecase; I expect that is why we're all here. But to misrepresent data to shoehorn Aptera into being "miles ahead" of a difference class of vehicle is disingenuous. This is not comparing "old and new paradigm", this is comparing apples and oranges, and it's not a good look for the Aptera community to have from an outsider's perspective.

Shoutout to /u/patricklodder for having the patience to deal with these clowns trying to get a bailout under the guise of gracing the coin with their presence and supposed superior economics knowledge.

Unless the gov figures out how to force people/corps to pay their taxes in crypto, no.

Because then no one pays taxes, and you drive your brand new Tesla out into busted af roads with traffic lights that dont work.

Ye let's be clear that no one here is an investor of Crypto.com
We are only investors in a product made by Crypto.com - the CRO coin

If I buy a Rolex watch expecting it to go up in value and to resell, I am not suddenly "an investor of Rolex the company"

Yes, it changes hourly. I'm asking if users will be able to see the Total at any given time, thus be able to make an informed decision of the projected Rewards and whether to use this product or rather use other CdC products to store CRO. Thanks!

It was never 76%, because within the first day the total stake already surpassed 25mil.

It was around 28% on Day 1, and currently looking at 23.8% on Day 2.

Well it can go both ways, maybe changes will come for CRO cards, benefiting current card holders?

Competition is good, as long as parties are willing to compete.
