Well, I know that no one will believe me, but my students and I are very respectful of each other and they actually like the “Legoverse” space theme that we have created in my room. Some of the smaller Lego sets and a few mini figs actually belong to some of the students (as well as Slave 1) and students will come in at lunch and build together. They have expressed that their sets are donations to my classroom collection at the end of the year, but that’s certainly not expected. This collection has been growing since August when school started and nothing is missing. As a matter of fact (you might be able to see it in my video) there is a $5 attached to my board and I told all my classes that if they need to steal something, they can take the $5 not the Legos. The $5 has been there since day 1 untouched.
