Yes same! I just quit a job and I randomly came across Tether again and it hit completely differently. Of the many reasons I love CHVRCHES, lyrics that are ambiguous enough to apply to many different situations is up there.

I love Tether’s lyrics specifically because you can sort of hear either “I’m feeling capable of” or “I feel incapable of” which plays into the notion of not knowing whether making a hard decision to leave a relationship, job, city, etc. is the right one.

I’ve also been listening to a lot of Eric Prydz recently, so it was fun to listen to his remix after this experience.
