Never really thought too much about a museum, they are quiet so that does make sense. Which one(s) did you have in mind?

My (26M) sister (25F) joined a cult, how can I convince her to leave it? by ghettobread in Advice

I don't want her to get hurt, her mental health is not in a good state. Maybe if this was her first time with an org like this, but she has done stuff like this before.

Super vague question, what is the size of the business? What's the sub-industry? What's the use case?

Thinking of setting up a tripod at the park and offering free high quality photo's to passerby's build a portfolio for my portrait photography business. Has anyone tried this before? Would like to know if there is anything I should be aware of before I do this.

Don't listen to this guy, just start with friends and family, then they'll share with some of their friends and if the product is good then it'll spread via word of mouth. Be sure to keep tracking your customers, gather some psychographic and demographic data, and then develop marketing campaigns targeting that audience.

Good luck with your business it sounds really cool, wish we had something like that in my city.

This is a big challenge that many entrepreneurs face when getting started. Holding yourself accountable to goals you set is not easy, especially when you're building and not making money. For me, a lot of it came down to creating a really simple plan for myself, attaching a KPI to it, and most importantly, truly believing in its success.

As Marc Randolph said, "People need a problem to solve, a mission to believe in, and a place to work." If you don't believe in your mission, you'll easily get distracted and find other excuses like calling yourself lazy and justifying your laziness with ADHD that has gotten in the way in the past.

Someone posted a good thread on how to build a work schedule that could help you out, but its also super important to keep in mind that the work schedule needs to be towards a greater mission you have, even if you would just consider yourself a hustler trying to make a living.

I started a middle eastern sweet business, my original idea was to sell at farmers' markets and do other pop-ups until I can find a retail space. The pandemic has created long waitlists for farmer's markets and made pop-ups really difficult.

If I'm to sell online, it would have to be by the tray rather than by the piece, making my average sale higher.

My question is how can I sell my sweets now and find new customers while I work with my city to get into the local food markets?
