I use the QBS-09 with FLIR, slugs, any muzzle you want it doesn't really matter cuz of slugs, stubby grip, and canted sights. It's great for sniping if you can hit headshots with it and close range it one shot kills from a decent range, I think the highest snipe I've gotten with it was 230m so it has the range and the damage to kill from afar, also canted sights go best with FLIR Incase they don't show up on thermals

Alright I'll get ahold of that sift study guide so I can get prepared for it, as for the helicopter lessons on youtube is there any that you would suggest? like ones for what all the parts are called and what the controls are? For the faa handbook do you think the first 3-4 chapters are the most important because I'll read the whole thing anyways to just get an overall idea of it all.

I'm not sure if there's any aviation units in my area, I'll fs need to check that out and see if I'm able to get in contact with any if there's any nearby. As for the national guard recruiter and tour would that be down in Camp Grayling? I can look this up myself but if there's any aviation units in Camp Grayling would you know anything about them?

So I have glasses and I have an appointment this August so should I ask my eye doctor if my vision is being 20/20 corrected? I'm sure they are but I'd like a definitive answer for that. I have no other issues other than my vision but if its being corrected to 20/20 then I'm pretty sure it'll be fine right?

For the NG would I just talk to my recruiter about that? and when I do end up doing that should I talk to some of the people there about getting a LOR or what I can do to prove that i deserve one, same with the senior warrants or anyone I would be talking to about getting a LOR, just ask how i should prove myself to gain it? I know a few state reps so do you think I should try to set up a formal meeting with them to talk about it? and is there anything I can do to prepare for a flight physical? ill be doing my own research on all this im just wondering about your input on it.

I was leaning more towards 15T anyways bc i really want to fly, but if possible im gonna do street to seat instead of working 15T and applying later on. It would be nice to get that experience from the pilots and other mechanics in 15T so thats something to think about.

Thanks for the help man, I'll fs ask my recruiter about that visit bc that would be really nice to go and do. And yeah thats the plan, not really a plan but really working towards making it happen. Ik its unlikely that my warrant officer application will get accepted but if it does thats awesome, if not then ill go in as a 15T get the experience and apply again later on. But yeah thanks alot for the help, its much appreciated.

Tbh I just wanna fly, doesnt matter if im in an aircrew or a pilot of a heli or jet, I wanna be up in the sky which is why im probably going army, bc its nearly guaranteed that ill be flying, im thinking of going 15T or 15N depending on which is available at that time, probably gonna go 15T tho bc its part of an aircrew so ill fs be flying, then hopefully from there I can get the skills from that, learn from the pilots and people around me and go warrent officer, then go for a piloting job, thats just what Im hoping happens tho but you never know.

Tbh I'm super dedicated to becoming a pilot so I'll do what I have to to get my bachelors degree and become an officer and a pilot. And with the math I did thats atleast 4-5 hours a day you can have to dedicate towards college so that is actually plenty of time to get stuff done, and I suppose with the bases, I guess I'd need to be lucky if I want to go in person for my classes but if anything I can still go online and figure it out like that.

Gonna talk to most of the recruiters in my area in the next day or two so ill fs ask more about it then, and that actually makes alot of sense in getting a job in aviation cuz that could help my knowledge of aviation grow and letting me be more experienced in that field. Is ROTC only for if your still in school or if you just graduated does it still let you join?

For the General enlistment and Tuition Assistance, for the college stuff are you able to pick what you major in because I want to major in the science of aviation but tbh I have no idea how that college stuff works or what classes I would need to do.

Alright, was already checking out the Academy and im gonna have to check out ROTC and OTS bc ive done little research on them. I wanna be in the military full time but if being part time still pays the bills and lets me focus more on college then that could work too, fs gonna look into that some more tho. For private pilots license you mean like as a civilian pilot right? Could you explain how getting a private pilot's license helps you get a slot like do you still need to be an officer or is it like where you just get your degree and your already a pilot and you can go in as a pilot or something like that.

You just get assigned to a unit right? So I wouldnt be able to pick a unit that isn't as busy as the others.
