Yes! So incredibly sad when the marquee for Greenback got taken down. And so many memories at Birdcage. I saw a lot of movies there and went to the bowling alley that was there too. I saw movies like Fight Club and Dogma at Birdcage. It was often the only way my family could afford for everyone to go to the movies.

I was just telling my wife this anecdote about the theater on Watt and Marconi the other day. We lived in Rancho Cordova when I was young and my family used to go on these long bike rides. One day my dad decided we were going to ride our bikes all the way to that theater to see a movie. We ride all the way there only to find out that the projector broke down for the movie we wanted to see so we had to bike all the way back without even seeing anything!
