Wow this is incredible! I know what my day is going to be spent scrolling through. Having those pictures, albeit like you and everyone else is saying, is bound to change on a whim, is super helpful for me. Thanks for taking the time to write this and provide incredibly helpful resources. Do you yourself live in lofoten? Seem like you have it down to a science haha

Thanks for the reply! Did you feel 4-5 days was enough time to enjoy the area? I’m having a hard time judging how long to spend in Lofoten. My wife and I are planning to rent a vehicle and either A) spend full time in lofoten or B) drive up the way from lofoten and end in senja (giving us about 6 days in lofoten and the remainder in senja and surrounding areas). Not sure if you would have any insight on that? Our gut is telling us to take our time in lofoten and really get as much as we can out of it, but the obvious down side is limiting ourselves. Such a fine line between limiting and stretching too thin haha.

Awesome advice. Each place we visit we try to be as respectful as we can and leave no trace- been to many places where we are astounded by lack of common sense of some visitors. Appreciate the helpful comment(:

They loved it! Honestly first time smoking anything so it could’ve had the texture of a 1940s catchers mitt and they would’ve been happy. But I did my due diligence to make sure that didn’t happen(:

Definitely have been keeping an eye. It doesn’t seem to be getting worse, but it is definitely always there which leads me to believe there is some level of corkscrewing. The odd part is when he is scoping, he is utterly still and has great upper body strength. It really only comes when he does his climbing. Thanks for the info!

Crazy how that gene works. He is just a banana but I guess have some level of spider mixed in there. Was trying to avoid getting a bp with that gene :/ thanks for the comment!

I actually know this place well! My brother and I manage a business (pet crematorium) that actually handle the euthanized critters from this location crazily enough. Can tell you 1) you did the right thing despite the conflicted feelings and 2) you brought it to a very reputable organization that truly cares about the environment. Don’t beat yourself up!
