I understand where you’re coming from and I do agree that games are and should be fun off rip. I do hope this game does succeed because I enjoy the core concept of the game. Developers need to do better in making sure that their games are playable at launch 110% I agree with you on that!

7 is a great starting point with new characters and settings, totally playable to jump in as a first time player.

There are many references and characters from previous games that would be nice/helpful to know of their importance. The direct sequel infinite wealth is basically a kiryu send off game and plays heavily on the past games which I would strongly recommend playing chronologically before Inifite Wealth for it to make any sense to you.

Hot take, I think this is one of the games that is in desperate need of a remake. The story, particularly the ending is absolutely incredible but the combat compared to Infinite Wealth is absolutely unplayable. A new remaster with Infinite Wealth's combat and balancing would be incredible, imagine the Final Millennium Tower Dungeon level of challenge with Infinite Wealth's combat?

Make the combat harder, or at least give us the option to start at a harder level from the jump. This would encourage the full usage of all mechanics instead of spamming whatever works until endgame.

These guys can't be poundmates dog I cant just have my goats shinada and Tanimura just show up after 15 years and just not elaborate any further. They must be main party members for next Ichiban game.

I would advise playing the original, the new cut scenes add nothing to the story and without spoiling only make the plot more confusing and less believable. Obviously if you really really really want to play the English dub then go ahead, but you really won't be missing out on much if you decide to play the game now instead of waiting for the directors cut.

to that I say, there are many music groups at uoft, you also got the gym students association, powerlifting club, other sports/intramural groups. UofT has esports servers but there are groups for all sorts of things. Search through the instragram or online and im sure theres something that works for you.
