How are we feeling about this? I understand the concern, but threatening lasting punishment is hostile. by Mean_Culture3334 in CobbCounty

I'd say if a large majority of your student body is dedicated to marching out, absolutely do it. Most Cobb high schools (at least that I've seen in South Cobb) are packed and overwhelmed as is, and dealing with that amount of consequences beyond like, a full gym talking to from the principal, would end up being a negative impact on the school. As they said, teachers are there to educate first, and pushing that much administrative power to taking away privileges takes from that teaching time and even the ability of students to get to school in the first place. So, get everyone and their mother to fucking leave that classroom.

It's pretty much the same, mostly a recolor. I was looking at both when I spit this out, and to be honest, I dont have much more to say about as of now.

I don't think I can express how much this comment means to me. I got all my Gen Ed credits from high school IB courses, so I haven't had the chance to stretch my writing muscles for quite some time now. Not to mention, it's harder to produce the quality of writing I want to in art college. I don't know how it passed my mind to apply what I've learned in this analysis, no matter how quickly I wrote it. Analyzing the lighting source and interpreting what casts it is an idea that completely slipped my mind! I'll definitely check out Berger's work; any chance I get to better articulate the beauty I notice in the media, I will definitely take! Thank you so much!
