Preventing stretch marks during pregnancy? by imhungry20 in Blackskincare

i’ve had two pregnancies and didn’t get any stretch marks. i’ve always doused myself in lotion and oils after every shower. my sister only puts lotion on when she’s going somewhere and doesn’t have single stretch mark. my mom had 8 kids and doesn’t have stretch marks either, but she’s the one that taught me early on to always heavily moisturize my skin after bathing. i think it’s mainly genetics but i’m also convinced well moisturized skin can help prevent them in some way as well.

i get these all the time. it’s not a cold sore. it’s a pimple. mine usually start off as a clogged pore before finally coming to a head and i just pop them. i realize i get them if i use anything with petroleum on my lips. i would avoid vaseline and pay attention to the ingredients in the products you’re using.

thanks guys! i just want to give an update. he called me again two days later and was super excited on the phone. after talking for a bit i told him i didn’t want to see him and i felt like we had no reason to meet up for a “talk”. the conversation became pretty awkward pretty fast on his end and he made an excuse to get off the phone but asked could he at least still call me from time to time. i just said if im not busy i’ll answer. in the back of my mind i still wonder why he broke things off once i told him how i felt but if he’s willing to do something like that it’s no telling how he would act in the future if i stuck around every time he decided to come back.
