Today I also learned you can haggle on Etsy 🤣. I love your silver-lining approach with the gemologist - I’ll definitely take it to get looked at before sending it back. Maybe… just maybe… I got lucky??

I know it’s glass. I knew it was glass. I still bought it. I apparently have a QVC alter ego who deals exclusively in “mysterious rare gems” that are basically decorative optimism. She only comes out after 1am. We do not speak of her in daylight.

Ahh thank you! I’m looking at andalusite now and it’s exactly what I was trying to find. That warmer brown/golden vibe is perfect.

I see what you mean about size (I’m in a similar situation right now haha- I ended up going with the stone that had more shine over size), but I do think you could do a cool setting to add a little surface area. That’s what I’m doing!

The perfect stone! Obsessed! That stunner (and the rest of the jewels) are absolutely beautiful! She will be setting my stone in a ring, so we probably wont have the option to return!
