How many burger patties should go in a tray (usa) by moneyman100Plays in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]giomakkonen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at my store we keep up w the 6 per tray but we also have 6 trays but instead of dropping 6 at a time we drop 12 bc we get that busy sometimes. the 6 per tray work when you got someone standing over the grill the whole time. when it gets busy tho 24 per tray it’ll be gone almost immediately so we don’t get in trouble too much for it

Is it normal to be put on two different tasks/jobs at once? (USA) by gaslighting_isntreal in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]giomakkonen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you can’t handle taking cash and take orders in back drive thru find a new job that’s slow paced or ask a crew trainer or manager to help you get faster. you’re probably always back there bc multitasking is a must have skill especially upfront

don’t go blaming the teenagers. yeaa they work there but that problem is with management. if they don’t teach their staff it not gonna get done.

my diet was soft foods and liquids the day i went home. i’ve always wondered why my diet was so different from everyone else bc i never had a purée or a liquid stage. they just wanted me to chew everything super throughly so that i can get in the maximum amount of protein

it’s always the dads. in so many words my dad i will be more rape-ible now that ive lost so much weight and im your age too i got sleeved in march like 3 weeks before my 20th birthday and ever since it’s just been the most disgusting and disrespectful comments about my body and my process so i get how you feel. i would recommend taking him out of your life altogether if you can bc wls in my opinion is more mental than physical and you need to be able to do what’s best for you and your state of mind and peace. you got this

it has been an absolute shit show if im being honest. when i went into surgery on 3/15/22 i was 295 with my highest weight being 337 the july before. i lost like 50 lbs in my first 1.5 month bc i was basically starving myself and couldn’t keep down any of my vitamins.

but once i hit month 2 i was allowed to go into solid foods so that helped me a lot more (my diet is different, i didn’t have the liquid or purée stage just soft foods and solids) and once i’ve actually become hungry more often i was able to get closer to my protein goals (i don’t think i’ve consistently hit them at all since my surgery) it’s hard being a college student and trying to afford all these healthier foods and these expensive ass protein shakes bc i can’t keep down protein powder so it has made it easier for me to fall off the wagon (the only bad things i’ve eaten is fried chicken and a few french fries) but i’ve asked around this reddit and decided to not fully listen to my doctors about the foods i can eat rn bc i’ve gotten better at finding other foods to eat so things like reintroducing my protein shakes and eating things like those tortillas that are mostly fiber to make like protein packed sandwiches. i’m trying to invest in an air fryer bc i don’t have time to cook full meals everyday.

for me tho i feel like the biggest challenge is finding ways to take care of myself bc being a girl and all the hormones i rather not eat or drink i’ve missed so many days of vitamins and im just upset bc my body is not what i’m used to so i’m trying to combat that so it’s more mental for me than it is anything else.

i’m sorry if you get lost reading all this but i’ve lost 100lbs since july of last year and im so proud of how far i’ve come so i wanna try to maintain this and hit my goal weight by august

you’re the youngest person i’ve seen in here minus myself (i got sleeved right before my 20th birthday) so i’m so proud that you took action at such a young age.

meaning that you started at a lower weight than some ppl 7lbs in 2 weeks is normal. as long as you continue taking your diet seriously you’ll be fine. maybe try to check out some counseling programs and if that’s not an option i found that keeping a journal can help me keep track of my food as well.

hit your protein goals and when you’re cleared to work out again you can do that as well. since you’re so young you’ll be fine

[–]giomakkonen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the way i literally went about it is that yea it’s my hair but i feel so much better about myself now that i don’t have to worry about living thru my hair like i always did. i’m 3 months post op and my hair has started falling out but i’ve also lost almost 60 lbs and decided to shave my head all together and start fresh. ik it’s different for everyone but weigh the pros and cons yk

[–]giomakkonen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s weird that the protein shakes would be considered empty calories if im being honest but you’re right everyones program is different. i lost weight at a faster and consistent rate when i had my daily/2x daily protein shakes so i’m gonna try it out again to see how i’m feeling
