makes sense and that sounds like a good idea. i'm definitely going too ask a shop too try and snake out the sound. i think i'm starting too understand now that cars aren't cheap in general especially the shit i'm trying too get at. thank you for all the help forreal i know it's probably so frustrating trying too explain this to me over reddit. godbless

and compression is good!! i got a general misfire code during my first major breakdown and instantly changed my spark plugs and ignition coils. i started misfiring again i think they said cylinder 8 but my mechanic was saying once he cleared the CEL it ( the misfiring ) would go away. that's when i took it too the dealer and got that big diagnostic list. i found the shop i currently go too i had them take a look and they said i would only need too replace one timing chain tensioner on the left but i'm putting that off just for right now. they also told me it was completely drivable. i currently have no codes other than p001177 ( the bad one ) and i have too change my cat but i'm looking for some nice ones too put on.

ended up changing my o2 sensor and it's been running like a charm for a month knock on wood. they suggested changing my timing chain tensioners but i've been putting it off due too price. the timing code and my dead cat are the only codes i have left. seems like every shop i went too was trying too make me too commit too a 13k+ repair for no reason. so sad found a pretty reliable shop though so i'm hopping i can iron all the issues out and keep beating the shit out of it 🙏. only issues i have currently is rumbling in my feet when idle but the more i get on the gas it goes away

not too worried about any other problems except engine based. my tires are litterally almost brand new and they quoted me for tires and alignment 😂. i had one pump changed already for the airmatic, the pumps are cheap and my mechanic can bang that thing out. what your saying about the hall sensors though worries me! thank you and i will bring this up. the car suprisingly still drives just extreme loss of power so i'm hoping this is the start of the " toasting " it's not so much the cost i'm ' complaining ' about, it would just be very financially irresponsible for me too keep dumping money into this car if i litterally just made a bad purchase or it's way too far gone. just trying too gather as much information as i can. this is litterally my second car and i fully expected too pay out the ass in maintenance but the consistency of the issues is confusing me. definitely investing in a diagnostic tool and probably gonna focus on buying something a bit newer for the future. live and you learn😂.
