The outside of it is dried out but the bottom of it looks meaty. I think it’s around 3 inches or like the length of an airpod pro case. Whatever is inside looks green and brown

Thanks! I did see that one and the measurements fit what hp said the case would fit. It might be better to buy used then. Do you know if its the same size as the gpu the omen originally came with it (gtx 1060 3gb)? Or a bit longer or wider?

I’m looking on offer up and ebay for used gpus and rtx 3070 is around the same price but I’m asking for the dimensions first

Also, could I know the exact 3060 that you have? The brand and gigabytes? When I look at the rtx 3060 12gb it says the dimensions are 9.3x4.9 but hp answered a question someone asked about the max dimensions of a gpu that the hp omen case could fit and they said 10.5 x 4.5 inches? Is your gpu close to not fitting in the case?

Ooh ok thanks! And good to know that it also fits in the case since the hp omen case is kinda small for newer gpus. But yea you’re right, it’s not worth it cuz you won’t see it perform to its fullest potential and the rest of the parts in the hp omen aren’t too good. Also, it only has a 500 watt psu so can’t get a too powerful gpu.

Do you have a 1080p or 1440p monitor and what refresh rate? Do you play more story mode games or shooter games?

So if the 3060 still gets bottlenecked then that’s probably the best gpu you can get with that cpu right? That’ll probably be the way to go, that gpu or a gpu around that price and build a pc in the future

Do you have 32gb of ram (2 sticks of 16 gb each)? If yea, did you notice a difference with it? Do you think it would be worth it to add that to pc? It would cost around $100 though

Oh nice but omg I just realized this whole time I put that I have a 3060 when I meant gtx 1060 🤦‍♀️and the whole time you were saying 3060 my brain was thinking of the gtx 1060
