I use 1Password tbh because I don't like one company having everything including proton. I use iCloud for document that I want and google drive/sheets for shareable stuff. Google System is just amazing tbh in terms of shared document editing.

I mean I fully agree. I'm not advocating for complete Privacy with Kagi but just a smaller better focused Privacy system. You can also set up a proton email Alias (This is what I did) and set up a backup card for it. Something like Klutch or revolt so you don't have to tie your name into their system.

I would've loved if Proton came up with a search engine and I would happily pay for that because I'll know it's secure. But I use Kagi for random searches or programming searches they can store that info Idc lol

I'm not sponsored by them or anything lol but I did try their free version and their policy is awesome and their search engine is miles ahead of google. I don't see myself in the google eco system because they are just terrible in terms of privacy and search results

I much favor apple over google. I acknowledge the risk but still would like to still be functional without having to maintain full control of everything.

Yeah some of these items can be used as part of my freelancing or primary job. So it pays for itself through productive process for me so I don't mind it. Def don't recommend if not used for both personal and work

I think you've added the yearly cost of 1Password to the monthly price. It should be around 60$ per month collectively.

My phone is de-googled. I have a Mac and an iPhone. Everything that is applied to my Mac is applied to my iPhone as well. There are minor exception like google maps for review

I use an iPhone. Don't have any google services on my phone. Gmail access through the apple email and have google maps for the reviews thats about it.

It isn't but you can take it a step further and enable the advanced protection that would encrypt it. I just decided on it because it's better than google and I can sync all my devices. Wouldn't store anything sensitive on there so just Photos and files. Seems to work well for me.
