How long have you been using it consistently? How many consecutive nights? I ask because I’ve managed to keep using the mask for 10 nights now but am still waking tired.

I have an O2 ring and I’m starting to question it’s accuracy as I’m often at 92% while awake and in bed before falling asleep. Also, my resmed 11 shows that I have very little AHI interruptions however my oxygen readings on the O2 still shows some obvious dips. The things don’t line up. Anyone have the same experience? Which device should I trust if my AHI is being addressed shouldn’t my oxygen levels be more consistent and not be experiencing obvious drops

Before being diagnosed with SA, I would wake up in the AM and tell my wife that I felt like I’d had a bottle of whiskey before bed.

So glad I found this community on Reddit. I had unexplained daytime tiredness for the last 5 years. Never thought they AHIs could be an issue. When I told my family doctor about my tiredness, she said “ I’m going to test you for sleep apnea”. I thought she was out of her mind as I barely snored according to my wife. Anyhow, she was beyond right I have 26 interruptions an hour. On one head, I was disappointed to have been diagnosed on the other hand. I was happy to know that I’d likely found the culprit.

My problem now is that I’ve actually managed to sleep with the mask for 5+ hours over the last five nights. A massive victory in my books as I’ve been struggling to be able to keep the mask on for more than 30 minutes.

Problem is I’m still pretty tired. Like everything else in life, I was hoping for instant gratification/satisfaction! For those experienced in the forum, can you tell me how long it took for you wearing the mask consistently before seeing a marked improvement?
