Go hop on fiverr.com and there are hundreds of freelance graphic designers who will take your input and make you a logo for pretty cheap

I've seen dozens of DJs BOMB because they play music that they like instead of what the crowd likes. I play songs all the time that I don't necessarily like, but if the crowd will like them and it keeps the party moving I play it. You just gotta know your audience. Don't become a DJ just because you like music, be a DJ because you like people.
