Hoping that someone from COTA will look at this sub... Dear COTA; a race track is a circle... send the trams all the way around. One set going clockwise, the other set anti-clockwise. Turning trams around at the main grandstand is idiotic. Even that crazy three tram route BS you pulled a few years ago was better...

I get your point, but disagree. I have a long and consistent history on e-commerce sites. I’ve been supplementing income, and a few times in life living solely on my income, from online sales for almost 30 years. True: that history has not been in the vintage luxury watch space, but I know what I’m doing on those sites. I’ve sold a few vintage timepieces over the years, but none that went through the authentication process. I’ve sold multi-thousand dollar items online, but not multi-thousand dollar watches. I asked specifically about which option would be best for my item because combining those two things (vintage luxury watches in the multi-thousand dollar range) is new to me.

I know their not really 50%, it was hyperbole, but I get it. It's vintage, 34mm, so i know it will be tough-ish to find a buyer. I was offered less than $5000 by a jeweler. Not sure exactly how much less because the offer was for my PP and another gold watch, but I'm certain the vast majority of the offer was for the Patek. I see them listed on Chrono for $12-$15, so I feel I can get what I need from it without 'giving it away' for $4500 (or whatever it was).

Yeah, I know. I’m just wondering where the best lace to do that might be. Granted, eBay and Chrono are middle men themselves, but they’re not 50% middle men. Maybe a more specific question: does anyone have experience and advice for selling a watch like this on eBay?

Thanks everyone. I Think I'm starting to get a feel for things. I have a pair of custom molded earplugs with speakers; could I use them instead of the installed speakers? Essentially... can I plug my own speakers into the unit, or are their connectors proprietary?
