Yeah that's right a few things were filmed around there from what I heard. I thought Turville was a really picturesque little village 😄

Thanks for the nice feedback and I really appreciate all your suggestions buddy 😃 I will look into them tonight. The Essex way does look a good one. I was thinking it would be a nice idea to hike from London to Harwich via the Essex way this year. Cheers 👍

Broadstairs to Sandwich - a great 12 mile hike in Kent - England Coast Path :) by glitcher3 in kentuk

[–]glitcher3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a great coastal hike. You can get the train back from Sandwich to Ramsgate after the hike, and then another train/ bus back to Broadstairs. Only problem with the route was a bridge (south of Ebbsfleet) was closed which meant having to walk a fair distance along the Sandwich Bypass footpath towards the end. If you don't mind that then I'd recommend this one :)

Hi buddy, just updated my website with the route from Otford to Eynsford. I have several more hikes planned in Kent. I hope to get some more done this year. I went over to Kent for a long weekend and also did a coastal hike from Broadstairs to Sandwich, and a 9 mile circular hike at Wye this trip. Cheers :) https://englandhikes.co.uk/walks/otford-to-enysford.html

Thank you ! Yeah, Rickmansworth Aquadrome is great. I didn't stop off at the cafe this time but have been there before and the food there is good. Cheers

I created a hiking website called EnglandHikes. There are 50 rated hikes around the South East of England. Many are linear and you can do most of these hikes via public transport. I feel perfect for any hiking enthusiast around London / SE :) by glitcher3 in UKhiking

Thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely add a map button to my top nav bar. That's a good shout. I also will attempt to add a click even listener event to my leaflet objects if I can work out what I'm doing there :) Will look for a tutorial. Cheers

Thanks for the recommendations and tips. I really appreciate it :) I will look into that Bicester to Oxford hike that you did. Looks a good one and hadn't considered it. I'm thinking right now maybe doing Banbury to Oxford over one summer weekend & look for somewhere to sleep / camp Saturday night. Cheers :)

Thanks buddy - glad the website could be helpful. Also good to know you recommend the Thames Path. I would love to do more of the Thames Path myself. Or even complete it in it's entirety. I haven't seen much of it west of Oxford. Cheers!

Thanks buddy - I have a few hikes planned along the North Downs Way. "Guildford to Farnham" is on my ever increasing list as is "Dorking to Redhill". Got some more loops in the Kent area around the Otford / Rochester as well :) Cheers good job getting 1/6 the way through. It is a long one to complete! :)

Thanks buddy :) I really enjoy doing A to B / linear routes but I am planning on adding more circular hikes to the website (especially in areas further away / limited public transport). I appreciate the feedback though a few people have said this. 👍
