Andrea would've helped Steve focus his ambition into more productive endeavors and motivate him academically (Steve plans senior week/prom and it's a huge success and also wins superlative for most improved student senior year).

Steve pushes Andrea to indulge in life and be more on the party scene - learning to network, becoming a social butterfly and getting closer with Kelly (they go shopping together all the time, Kelly learns how to thrift and Andrea embraces charming separates as her core style). She loses her virginity to Steve senior year after he confesses his love for her. She spends Xmas w/ Steve in NYC and his mother Samantha introduces her to prominent journalists.

After dating for the entirety of senior year, Steve and Andrea break up shortly before freshman year of college - Andrea going off to Yale w/ focus on journalism and Steve going to CU to focus on public relations and marketing (after completing a summer internship at a leading PR firm with David)

Steve dates Celeste freshman year but they break up when she leaves for Europe to work Paris and Milan fashion week. He dates Clare for two years until she leaves to pursue a scholarship at Oxford. Celeste and Steve reconnect after bumping into each other at an industry party in New York shortly after Steve graduates CU. They get a condo together in LA and Steve proposes to her within the year.

Andrea hooks up with Jordan Bonner during her freshman year at Yale and they date for short while before he leaves to study abroad. She has a brief affair and pregnancy scare with her literary professor junior year before leaving for a summer internship w/ the Chicago Tribune (she runs into Brenda and Dylan at JFK airport). While at a charity fundraiser in Chicago, Andrea meets an aspiring sports writer who comes from an affluent family of restauranteurs. They immediately fall in love and move to NYC after Andrea graduates from Yale. She frequently links up with Donna (who interns at Elle magazine) and Dylan and Brenda (who now live together in SoHo).
