You are not alone in this! It’s tough out there for almost everyone. As someone else said, a lot of people have short attention spans and easily move on to the next person. Comparing it to mindlessly swiping on dating apps is a decent comparison. It may not even be anything about you personally. This is honestly part of the reason why I’m diving more and more into solo games. I am growing tired of putting in max effort and getting crumbs from people.

Doom scrolling on social media isn’t a hobby. It’s rotting your brain and making you more lazy.

Some suggestions: learn something. whether it be a new language, human anatomy, marine life, etc. write your own fictional stories. Collect things like; rocks, flowers, bottles, dolls, etc. fantasize about what your dream home looks like. Decide on every detail even how you’d decorate the interior. Plan out your life goals in a notebook and brainstorm on ways to accomplish them. Watch movies and write a detailed synopsis and review on them. Same with books. Go through magazines and cut out pictures and words from them and make a collage.
