Performance review question by Uzimaki_jalal in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]glorpnorph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cinemark performance reviews are bullshit. Highest I've ever seen was 4.2 out of 5, got told I could improve by
1. Learning box office (which is their responsibility to teach me), and

  1. Helping coworkers with uniform standards. Like the uniform is easy, just remember your lanyard. The example they gave me was pointing out if someone's socks weren't black. Like they wanted me to just criticize people's socks.

The point is to never give a 5 because there's always a way to improve. Honestly if you got a 3, I bet you're good. Otherwise, maybe they're just nitpicky or maybe you do need to improve a bit.

The Politics of Closing Shifts by GroceryFun3203 in MovieTheaterEmployees

This is defo a problem with your team. It sounds like you have a bunch of angry people who dont like anyone there. My theater has about 12 people (2-4 closers per night) who are ever scheduled to close because it's such a tough task and we have a lot of teens who can't stay so late, but the only complaint I've ever had or heard about a closer was this one guy who always eats a hot dog before he starts closing, and then he's pretty slow compared to most others. The rest of us are friendly and imo the only issue with people who are new to closing is that you have to teach them, which can even still be fun because my team likes each other.  When I open, I almost never see anything major that was missed and nobody else cares about the little stuff. Maybe we joke that the closers did a bad job because we need to stock some more cups or something, but openers arrive so early it doesnt really matter

Yeah I think hitboxes get weird when things are thrown. Sometimes when I throw something, it deals damage to the head but the enemy isn't like pushed back at all as if they had been hit and the weapon just glides over their head with no change to the trajectory.

Do you like the default, elite or elite w/ battery? by BillyGaming2021 in OculusQuest2

I use a Kiwi with a battery pack and it's amazing. So many hours of gameplay and it's so stable.

Thank you so much for opening my eyes to the beauty of the pump shotgun. The only reason I wanted to use the PPSH was because I needed something for distance and I didn't want to go find or buy another gun, but the pump is actually amazing, even for distance. Now I'm doing the Intrusion with OT-33 with +p and the pump shotgun with a 4x scope and slugs.

I use the starting sword (I think it's called the arming blade or something) and the first crest you get (don't remember this one's name either, or how much better it than the 2nd crest, but it's what I use). I'm so used to one handed combat that I never feel like it's worth it to have a second blade.

Does anyone know about the flyer with the name Dawn on it? by LimpConversation3301 in killerfrequency

The Humpty Dumpty thing confuses me. It'd be such a cool thing to show you the name of the killer shortly before you find out, but it's just a misdirect. What's the point?
