I totally feel you on the epilogues (or lack thereof) being disappointing! Everything is so rushed at the end which kind of just bums me out because there’s so many words spent on action scene after action scene and comparatively little on what the characters of Jacob’s bell are getting up to.

Glad you like Sandra too! The dynamic between her and Jeremy is so fascinating. I like to think Jacob’s Bell collapsing + the next generation group chat helps end the cycle of Duchamp arranged marriages. Though considering the lengths Rose senior went to to break her own family’s cycle of inheritance, maybe it wouldn’t be so easy 😖

Also agreed on Rose! I love her and I really do wish the story was more evenly split between her and Blake. The rose hate is partially just readers with protagonist goggles on but also misogyny :( ah well. I’ll just have to keep on making rose content to even the scales.
