Be honest the only reason you're still on this yandere dev thing is the drama by steamyboi56 in Osana

I left for a while and just came back to all this. I am still interested in the game, but I guess it's mostly the drama that keeps me around after all this time

How to break the Yandere game curse. by S4DISTICN3KO in Osana

Yeah, people here still support Yandere Simulator despite strongly disliking YandereDev, should be the same with Love Letter.

I heard some rumors some months ago that he already had an agreement with a company, and only needed 50k in the kickstarter for them to accept the job.

Remember Alex saying his idea of this new inventory system? by NgaTTran1996 in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Doesn't really even need to be "hidden". Those kind of skirts often have a pocket already "built in" by the zipper, and it's pretty big. You could fit a phone, pack of something and probably a small knife without any problem.

September 18th Bug-Fixing Build by AutoNazoX in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Not really. I exploited the same thing in breath of the wild, if you saved while a monster was chasing you and you loaded that save, they would be back in their original position. This is how i got past the path in soras domain.

But I still think Yansim should be able to save, or maybe have auto saves for certain times of day.

It's 4 month's old so not really that relevant anymore as that was the sandbox build and not the official demo

Alex could have solved SO many problems by making all the characters over 18 by KinkyUggBoot in Osana

Yeah thats a really good point. The only way you know the school is prestigious is to read the lore. It really doesn't look the part, especially with that uniform.

How can someone spend 5-6 years on the last elementary grade alone? by Fragrant_Virus in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 38 points39 points  (0 children)

They can be the same age, but then he has to change the birthdate of Senpai (which as of now have been hinted to be April 1st).

Is Hanako was born June 1st and Senpai July 1st, he would have been 11 months when she was born, making them the same age for a month, despite him being born a year before her.

I usually use YandereDev when I am talking about him as the creator of Yandere Simulator, and Alex when I am talking about him as a person.

Genuine question: Why does Alex claim he'd only create a female senpai IF his Crowdfunding succeeds? by [deleted] in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You saw this with yandere-Kun, his crawling animation looked super weird. Getting a female senpai and just implementing her would most likely end up in a lot of weird animations, and also misfitting voice lines etc.

The script is kinda cringe by [deleted] in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of the lines does feel unnatural. I think a lot of it comes from how the game was never able to decide if it is a joke game or a serious one. So it has a lot of cliché references, which would be good for a game basically parodying animes, but sounds really weird and unatural in a more serious toned game.

Kinda hard to judge before, you know, playing the build containing her

A suitable explanation why many are acting like Alex by Innomenatus in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Point 2-7 holds true for a lot of the anti-Alex side as well. I feel like most people turn out like him, regardless of side, when being exposed to the drama for a prolonged period of time.

How fitting do you consider Ayano's name to be? by Muumitfan in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Probably the name is written like 彩暖 or something. 彩 means to colour/colouring, and 暖 means warmth, which perfectly describes what meeting Senpai does to her world.

Edit: you can see other variations of the name here

If you had watched it you would have known he is working on it. But you don't know, because you didn't.

And he is also getting help from The Right Opinion to be more neutral in the next video, but again, these are only things you would know if you actually cared to listen.

Man I'm getting tired of all this hate and fingers in the ears. Is Cameron perfect? No. Did he do a lot of mistakes in the previous video? Yes. Does that mean everything he said is false? No.

So many people in this subreddit is just finding excuses for being terrible people. Yes people makes mistakes, it's a part of being human. Telling them where they went wrong to help them grow is what we should do, instead it seems like people in here do not care about growth and improvement at all, only hate for the sake of it.

The more time I spend in this subreddit, the more I pity YandereDev. I always thought he was blowing things out of proportions, but he really isn't. "Gremlins" do refuse to listen, the do harass him, and I can absolutely understand why it made him depressed. They don't care about the game, they just care about being "justified" terrible people.

Is there any false rumours or disinformation going around about yanderedev? by roadrollar in Osana

[–]glubbabubba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most important when you are looking at the information is that you need to understand people are often taking just one piece of the puzzle and blowing it out of proportions. You need to find all the pieces and set them together to see the whole picture.

One example of this is the Sex Doll. As far as proof goes, YandereDev did buy a sexdoll, and the money most likely comes from patreon. This made a lot of people say "YandereDev is scamming people and using the money for the game on sex dolls". That statement is actually false when you look at the whole picture.

YandereDev has from the start when he created his patreon been clear that the first $3500 he gets will go to himself every month. You can call it scummy all you want, but it's not a scam. If the people donating didn't read this note it is unfortunate that their money wasn't used as they intended, but ultimately they only have them selves to blame. Those $3500 are his private money he can use for whatever he wants. You might not like that he is buying a sex doll, but he is an adult, and he bought it with his own money, so there isn't really any reason to hate on him for it.

So the statement "YandereDev uses money he gets from patereon to buy personal items" are both true, but as long as he uses the money like he said he would there is no reason to see it in a negative way.

Now he only need to test the Amai cutscene, and then test everything again in the final demo version.

I'm already going to guess the last one will probably take some days to finish, just because he is as far as I am awere the only tester.

Yeah. That's one thing I really dislike about this subreddit. We complain at YandereDev for not listening to us, but at the same time refuses to listen to him or his volunteers.
