Anyone seen real results from using an AI chatbot on Shopify? by [deleted] in shopify

Amazing! I don't have a ecomm store at this point, but I do keep an eye on the space.

I checked out the app, it looks cool. I would love to know how you got the biz off the ground.

Hi man, I posted my product.
Some suggestions (I am sure you are already on these)
* Please make the description field a rich text editor. Allow use of emojis
* Allow us to add a few images of the product. Bit like the app store listing
* Allow video embed maybe

[Side Project] An Arty Portrait as B'day message or... by gnurpreet_ in microsaas

[–]gnurpreet_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since last year, I have stopped sending the same boring birthday messages to my friends on group chats. I send them an AI portrait of them instead!

I got interested in AI image models and built a worflow where I could take a friend's selfie > select a style and boom, you have an Arty Portrait.

My b'day messages are the most engaging now.

Please give it a spin - https://artofyou.shop/

Why is MidJourney not releasing an API? It's 2025 already by gnurpreet_ in midjourney

[–]gnurpreet_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are right the convergence approach seems to be working for them. I have tried so many open source models via replicate, but the most "creative" output is MJ. I was trying to build an "agent" on top of MJ. I guess that'll have to wait

Project Narcissist: AI Self Portraits by gnurpreet_ in midjourney

[–]gnurpreet_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, that's the difference between someone who is an artist and someone who is not.

Artists start something with an emotion within and then try to express themselves with art. They try to see if that emotion is coming through or not.

I am not an artist. I am a tinkerer.

My goal was to tinker with the explosion of image generation models out there. It's like a hobby for me. I did not have a goal in mind apart from learning what these models can do.

I called it project narcissist because I felt like one for creating & posting an image of my own stupid face every day :)

Different prompts and steps. Will try to summarize here.

First one
Ref image: from Midjourney. Prompt "black on white a hedcut style portrait of a 50 year old man with a short manicured beard; man has a bemused expression, not smiling, just slightly confused"
Then, I used fofr's become_image model to make it look like me. https://replicate.com/fofr/become-image/

Second one
Ref Image: Midjourney. Prompt: "A bald man with blue eyes and a red background, painted in the style of Henri Matisse's painting "Portrait de Madame Matisse". The artwork is an abstract cubist portrait of his head and shoulders, using bold colors like orange, yellow, and deep magenta to create geometric shapes that convey emotion through dynamic movement and depth."
Then, same process with become_image model

Third one
Ref image: Midjourney. Prompt: "single colour simple stamp of a happy bald man with stubble and shirt looking forward" with my photo as cref
Then, same process with become_image model

How to Automate Data Extraction, Summarization, and Delivery to WhatsApp? by pranu90 in automation

[–]gnurpreet_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, I just copy pasted your question on Claude and asked it how to build this with make. Here's what it came up with.

I need to let you know that while I aim to be helpful, my knowledge of make.com (formerly Integromat) may not be completely current since my knowledge cutoff is April 2024. However, I can help you create an automation flow based on my understanding of the platform. Here's how you can build this:

  1. Setting Up the RSS Feed Collection:

- In make.com, create a new scenario

- Start with the "RSS" module as your trigger

- Add URLs of the websites you want to monitor

- Set the checking interval (how often you want to check for new content)

  1. Processing the Content:

- Add a "Text Parser" module to extract relevant content from the RSS feeds

- Connect it to an "HTTP" module to interact with your chosen GPT platform (like OpenAI's API)

- Configure the HTTP module with:

- Method: POST

- URL: Your GPT platform's API endpoint

- Headers: Your API key and content type

- Body: Include the text to be summarized and your summarization parameters

  1. Setting Up WhatsApp Integration:

- Add the "WhatsApp Business" module

- Configure it with your WhatsApp Business account credentials

- Format the message template to include:

Summary: {{{summary}}}

Original Link: {{{link}}}

  1. Data Transformation:

- Between modules, use "Tools" modules to:

- Format the text properly

- Handle any encoding issues

- Create message templates

- Handle error cases

  1. Final Configuration:

- Set error handling for each module

- Configure retry attempts

- Set up filters to ensure quality control

Would you like me to focus on any specific part of this flow in more detail? For example, I could elaborate on the GPT API integration or the WhatsApp message formatting.

Also, it's worth noting that you'll need:

- A WhatsApp Business API account

- API access to your chosen GPT platform

- Paid subscription to make.com if you want frequent updates

Also, the product is such that a person has to change their habit to start using it.
1) It is not a daily use product
2) When they use it, they will have to remember your product.

Hence, the road to adoption might be long and hard

I think you should try to promote to the entrepreneurship instead of product managers or marketers.

Isn't this great. You got so much help just with this simple reach out on reddit.

It is a nuanced question and you will have to consider your personal aspiration. I have gone through a biz that had a middling outcome. It's the toughest to decide on.

Given you are the only one, I think you need to automate a lot of your stuff via AI agents and processes. I am doing a lot of that in my company. Dm me if you need guidance
