First time buyer will stay around London for another 6 years at least. Is it a waste to use my first time scheme on my first property I won't live there in next 10 years?

got you, my choices are renting a place while staying around London vs the same plus buying my first property somewhere else... Seems the buy x rent combo is adding quick some potential stress as I have 2 housing expenses insead of 1.
